Tamil Nadu’s Satish Kumar set the record for the men’s 77 kg category weightlifting.
Satish, who weighs 144 kg in a snatch, is 173 kg in clean and jerk.
He gained a total weight of 317 kg.
With this win, India reached the third place in the medal list.
England’s Jack Oliver finished second in the competition.
He was weighed 312 kg in the last lift.
